Through these experiences I realized that the level of emotional and psychic depth I had been trying to achieve with audiences as a solo performer could be achieved as well, and in some cases on a more profound level, by group participation in an artistic experience.

Conceived as an artistic bridge between poetry and prayer, theater and religious ritual, Poetry Ritual Theatre is an on-going exploration of the ways in which theatrical environments can be created so as to engage audience and participants in a communal experience of performance events that have spiritual and social impact.
