The Art of Ritual and Its Practice in Community
Community, as we know, has always existed. At all times and in all places, humans have banded together on behalf of their mutual interests.
And wherever communities have formed, they have relied on ritual to express their most fundamental beliefs about who they are and why they stay together. In the same way that community is intrinsic to the human condition, ritual is intrinsic to the life of a community.

Ritual enacted by the community is experienced as participation of humans in comsmic energies...the sacred is exprienced not as something coming down from above but rather as an energy welling up from within the community whose daily life is already holy.
